Woolshed was dismantaled at Horoera by George Goldsmith and two of his sons Charlie and George in july-August 1940, the timber was carted to Pakihi in April 1941. George and George jr started building the woolshed in June 1941(Charlie had gone overseas to the 2nd World War with the 28 Battalion). The woolshed was finished in November 1941 with a dance opening and fundraiser for the soldiers.
Saturday the 8th of January 1927 George Godsmith paid 30 pounds into the Public Trust account at the BNZ Bank in Te Araroa for the three lighthouse keepers houses on Whangaokena(East Island)
Homestead built by George Goldsmith in 1931-1932 with timber from the three lighthouse keepers houses that were on Whangaokena(East Island). The houses were dismantaled and rafted back to the mainland in 1929-1930 by George his brother Wiki and brother-in-law Henry Dewes.Henry took half the timber to build the homestead on Toitoi Station at Horoera.
