A group of guys recently mapped a ride they call the PCQ, Pacific Crest Quest, which is a route that travels as close parallel to the PCT as possible. It appears to be mostly fire roads, forest routes and jeep trails. They completed it in about 15 days, approximately 3000 miles. it's still sounds cool but I am still jealous of the PCT.

Are you sure this is looking at Crater Lake? Those sides look really steep. South west of this point is Union Peak and it's the only thing I can see from here that slopes so much.
