I have probably driven on I-70 along Tenmile Creek through Officer's Gulch at least 50 times without knowing such a unique opportunity was at hand. Very nice capture; like very much.

Have a GREAT day...
Thank you Warner for your visit, comment and interest. All of the photos in this series were taken between June 5 and June 10, 2012 as indicated on the tags on each of the photos. The first of the series posted here, the panorama Marshaling the Fleet was taken on June 8 just after dawn and just before the morning's Parade of Sail began. From that first photo the series moves back to June 5 and then forward in chronological order through the gathering of ships for OpSail 2012 in Hampton Roads; the Parade of Sail in the early morning of June 8; and, winds up with some shots of the tall ships on display in Norfolk harbor on the evening of June 10. The descriptions on the photos give more details about the events and the various ships involved. All of the photos shown dated between June 5 and June 8 were taken at various locations on Chick's Beach east of Lynnhaven inlet as is again indicated in the tags and the mapped locations.
