This is a block of stores commonly known as the Fletcher Block. It has since been demolished. At one time it housed several small markets, drug store, barber shop, lunch counter and an A&P grocery.
they may not be used any more, but on google earth they serve a small industrial park, and theres train cars in it.
Well-composed photo. And how wonderful to find a wooden silo! They're certainly rare these days.

There are barricades at both ends so you can not take a vehicle over it.
I went up many years ago, but not at the time I took this photo. It was closed off then.
I only know it was an ice cream stand because I stopped here once in 1981 and bought a milk shake!
Someone took some time on that brick work.
Rt 40 is a fun road if you get off every now and again.
A picture of the bridge just down the line would be nice.
