amazing!! i did just created a google maps account to be abel to write to you. pls write me to abz@5x2.de when you have time for!! i do artworks (writing books and drawing, painting, 3d visuals...) i try to rise 'federal networks', just to connect people around the world and some projects to save nature and culture-things. realy amazing photo. makes me feel i'm there. and sometimes THIS save a place not to be "stepped down" from to many feets =D thank you for all your cool photos

These tracks are from armoured vehicles and steelcarts during WW1. The armored vehicles (bandwagons with steelcarts) carried supplies between the city (Norrköping) and the old military area in Bråvalla (airforce) to supply the soldiers defending our neutral borders. You can still see the rusty marks from the bandwagons tracks.

This road was used by the townfolk as late as the 1970's (cars, motorcycles, lorries etc). The gravel on the rock worked as a grinder, grinding down the rockcarvings (you can see what's left of them painted red) which once were about 4-5 cm deep. The carvings wasn't noticed as valuable by the city until the late 70's when all trafic was forbidden on the rocks.
