I enjoy photography as a serious hobby and have been able to visit many places around the world. At the moment I am concentrating on local sights, a subject easily neglected.
Your photos have provided me with a wonderful walk down memory lane! I worked in the infirmary for years, and I often walked in the valley gardens with my first boyfriend!
Cheers,
Typical Village cricket club. The green and clubhouse were the result of the work of Copford Cricket Club members who began to play cricket here in 1974.
This church dates from about 1130 and was built using large amounts of Roman and Medieval brick. Most of the south wall, seen here, dates from the 14th century.

I have to say a big thank you, you've captured one of the towns best loved and now very missed characters. It's great to come across him here :)
