This is a fantastic photograph of Tea Pot Rock! This fragile rock formation was vandalized a few years ago. Now people can no longer see this strange and unique formation.

Look at other parts of the island. Some of it is impressive. When I started work as an engineer at an oil well service company I worked for 37 days on a Texas prison farm. Guards on horses with shotguns. I worked 16 hours a day so I saw little of the prison. You had to stay on the rig site unless you were going in or out. The prisoners had more freedom. But we could leave after the well was finished.

When I used to work offshore it was entertaining to watch the Dolphin fish swim with other fish following. They are beautiful in the water.

While walking along the trail looking up I happened to look down!!! He was right next to the trail. We were very very quiet. Not sure how long he was but a Ranger said they had measured one a few years ago at 17' and a little. I think he has grown.

Nice shot! My wife and I have been to Juneau once via the Blue Canoe using the Alaska Marine highway system pass. For those who want to see the Alaskan coast our trip was great! Boat, Trains, and Bus it was a great trip. I understand the Boat part varies some good and some not. We had planned to tent on the boat but we were early in Bellingham, WA and were able to get an inside cabin. Inside? We only used it to sleep and change clothes. The outside cabins had windows by public areas, for exhibitionist only. The Blue Canoe goes where the cruse ships don't. Through narrow channels with wooded islands, lonely cabins by the water, and many small towns, beautiful! Kim thanks for showing us your beautiful photographs. Now when we go again we will know what to look for in Juneau.
