This year we at Hunedoara comemorate 10 years since they shut down our coke plant, the last sintering plant, the Siemens-Martin steel mill and the last operational blast furnace. That marked the end of the city's economy. P.s. i' also have photos of our factory from the "golden age" (1950's-1980's)....

Greed was the no. 1 enemy for our indusry, the hunger for money and the value of scrap metals recovered from the factory lead to the complete destruction of our "citadel of fire"
