Well the idea is that when the South Koreans and US invade North Korea they will blow up the pillars at each end making the concrete barrier drop and block the road, preventing vehicles from moving north. No, all very much according to a prepared itinerary. We weren't allowed to take pictures from the bus and when we left NK they went through all our photos making us delete the ones that showed NK in a less than complimentary light
