木曽義仲の愛妾、巴御前の塚です。巴御前はここで死んだのではないのですが、塚があります。近くに葵塚というのもあり、これは巴御前と共に戦いこの地に果てた葵御前を祀ったものだそうです。

2004/06/27 その昔、倶利伽羅峠での源平合戦の折、源氏が陣を敷いた場所ということです、「源氏ヶ峰」と彫られた標柱の元には小さな観音像が安置されていました。
