Very beautiful night photo. Greetings!
(gutes Essen)
I, too, was in the theater when the film was stopped to announce the shooting of JFK. I recall clearly the walk home and the apprehension we felt at that time. I do wish I could recall what film was being shown that night.
Are you kidding me? Ellobo 1249 are you another German thats trying to hide, and lie about the Holocaust ever happening? I dont belive you were ever sent there personally so I do not believe you have the right to stand up and say what happened and non the less it was a TRAGIC part of history, does it honestly matter how many died.
Hi ,I was also there and lived in the housing area in his pictures from 1969 to 1971,what memory's it brings back,I try to tell people how it looked ,but never thought to take pictures of the hosing area, the ball diamond looks way different ,the church still looks the same.
thanks for posting the pictures ,I am curious how he found that place and why he took the pictures of that base.
Fine historical photos
Das Wappen der 5. PzDiv ist auch selten geworden.
Interesing historical site! What's on there now? It looks like a military installation, maybe a muna?
