OK. I thought it might be a bog lake. Regards Brumm

I did same, I actually stood in the trench and watched the higher Atlantic side, but it was suspended and not rushing through, so I yelled at my friends looking down on the bridge and threw a disposable camera up to them to take a photo, I had to run and throw it, and at that moment the water came rushing through in an incredible rush, just missing sweeping me out to the Carib side, I was soo lucky, and my friends just could not believe what they witnessed.

It is truly an amazing place in Eleuthra, thanks for the pic!

Hi Ray!

Small world (island?)

When we visit we are Joe and Terri's neighbours....our good friends are Phil & Randy and they allow us the use of their home....Heavy Breezes.

We will be there next for the last week of March and the first two of April.

Indeed my picture is a bit behind the times. I'll look to place an update after our next visit in March. Have also been to Daddy Joe's on our last visit.....another good place and good to see that the area is starting to pick up. If I get in to Elvina's in March and you are playing I'll shout "Hurricane467" and we can share a couple of Kaliks!

This is not only a Clock Tower, but the only Light House known to be in the world located inside the land. The Light House is not functioning now, but has been preserved for the future generation. A new light house has been built near the shore just few meters away from this old light house.

Possibly for the same reason that they dump rubbish all over the island and leave wrecked cars at the roadside to just rust away?

Hi Ray,

Good to hear from another Lutra lover.

We have been three times so far and are currently planning visit #4 and #5.

We stay with friends who have a house in Oleander Gardens very close to Tom & Pearl.

I confess your name is not familiar to us. Do you have a home in the Gardens? If so, which one?

Looking north towards the hotel from the private beach.

He may look like stone but this fellow is real.....and very big! Time to retreat before he opens that eye!

Take a note of the grid reference as this sign tends to disappear every 1-2 years when blown away by a hurricane!
