This ist not the river "Saalach". This is the junction (confluence) of the rivers "Königsseer Ache" coming out of the "Königssee" and Ramsauer Ache coming out of the "Hintersee" to the "new" river "Berchtesgadener Ache", which is flowing into the "Salzach" in Austria. (The "Saalach" is flowing through "Bad Reichenhall" a town 21 km nearby "Berchtesgaden".)
