Yes this is the view down the valley from Mowbray Falls. Bit of a walk to get there- We took our lunch and sat on the top of the falls. The sounds of the falls was ot deafening - just peacefull. You could watch the butterflies flying below in the gorge. In June - it was not too hot to walk the sidetrack of the Bump Track Walk- marked walk.

Looking down towards Kamerunga - the Barron River in the distance. It was a cold day, low cloud & overcast but what a view. In the left corner you can just see track of the Kuranda railway

is Via Speewah in Atherton Tablelands. 8 Km from Kuranda via Kennedy Highway, travel 5.2km along Stoney Creek Road to the Speewah Campground.
Walks can be 1 hr return to 5 hour return.

Vegetation thins out as you climb towards Glacer Rock along the Douglas Track. About 2 hours walk in from Speewah Campground.
