Thanks for your comment, the photo was taken as I waited to join the QE2 heading to the Falklands. As far as I know, the Harriers were for air defence of the Ascension installation. Just behind the VC-10 on the left, you can see the Vulcans which took part in the 'Black Buck' bombing raid on Port Stanley.

Hi, thanks. I really don't know where it was taken exactly because I had no GPS. So I tried to correlate the time it was taken with the average airspeed and flight time between Florida and Venezuela.
