Dave Pearson's conversations

Thanks Denny.

Funnily enough, that night, I watched quite a large thunder storm out over the North Sea. Sadly, the camera I had at the time wouldn't have been much good for trying to capture it (no ability to do long exposures) and, worse yet, I didn't have a tripod with me.

What are the chances? Before you say anything, I swear I have never seen this photo before, but it is startlingly similar to one of my own photos! Must just be the courthouse's interesting shadow effects.

It's good to see something other than a touristy snapshot. So this very artistic photo caught my eye immediately.

If I recall correctly the bakery was still a bakery when we moved into the village (2000) but has since closed down, being renovated, become a florist and has closed down again.

As far as I can tell the building is disused at the moment (although there are some "units" round the back, down a little alley, that are still in use -- the barber I use is down there).

Glad to hear you like the photographs. And I really appreciate the bit of history you've provided too.

There's also one at East Fortune air field just outside Edinburgh where you can also get full access to the cockpit Can't wait until she is back on the airshow circuit.
