Beeindruckend. Likes. Brigitte. Greetings from Switzerland.

Yes! That's it! Did you notice that at least half of the photos were from Australia and NZ? I think the ones in my photo are from very early days of logging (1900-20s, maybe earlier) as most photos online show metal ones. Very few were wood.

Also, this one-log transport makes sense, because logs were enormous back then. My dad was a logger from 1930s-60s and I have family movies of my grandfather's logging operation, for which he worked. I wish my dad was still alive, I'd ask him about bogies ad use of narrow gauge RR in S. Oregon, both of which would have been slightly before his time.

Thanks very much, I'm learning so much from you!

Wonderful scene Misi, love the tree covered back road. And all the fall colors. Best wishes, Greg.

Hey Andy, always love your photos of the rocky UK coastline. I makes me want to go and explore more of this area. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas season, Greg.

Maravillosa imagen y encuadre de este extraordinario paraje, enhorabuena, L + Fav
