According to the book "Stroma" by Donald Young the only head teacher by the name of Gibson was Robert M Gibson who held the post from 1st Sept 1927 to 20th Dec 1929. He took over from my grandfather John H. Macbeath who held the post from 10th Dec 1925 to 8th July 1927. The head teacher in the 1950s was Miss I Manson (later to become Mrs Thompson)who held the post from 3rd January 1945 to June 1957 and was the last to hold the post.
