I think thats great you have that photo out on display. My wife stay at this house when it was a vacation rental back in 2006 I believe. It was sold and is now private, but wow what an amazing place to spend a week at. So secluded with deer on the back deck every morning. Freezing mornings and evenings...but the hot tub took care of that!
Go to Anchor Bay one day..it never disappoints:)
Unfortunately this tree no longer exists. What a heartbreaking disappointment when I arrived 8 months later(2010) to find this landmark gone. Bummed
I like it a lot. Makes me feel like a good day is ending. Thanks.
This house was built by Yale and Helen Maxon after their return from Japan.
Isolation...solitude...relaxation...couldnt ask for more.
Great shot and colors.
It was taken with an 8 megapix Olympus, but I took 6 shots(handheld) and used Photomerge in Photoshop CS3 to test the process. It merge it flawlessly and this is the final result.
keaven if this is where you live, I hope everyday is your best. I know that someday it will be mine.
This place is pure magic!
I was surprised to see the photo of the Crockett IOOF lodge also. Since Lodge #329 left Crockett, we (Carquinez Model Railroad Society) are leasing the 2nd floor from the IOOF (including the main lodge room). We have a good start on building our new model railroad in the 36 X 60 ft main lodge room.
We are hoping to get our 501(c)3 listing soon and then request a grant to obtain funds to help the IOOF refurbish the exterior of the building, which you can see, needs it badly.
