Dagnabbit, did I make this too perfect... :) The lake lifted all the time new art on the rocks but I hand-picked quite a many for the composition's sake also.
For all the luck every one of them didn't came with a little umbrella. That could have been risky and unhealthy!
Oh that is just lovely!
Thanks, David! Odd color shift that needs work but I was too lazy to correct it.
This building is in an old mining town in the Mojave.
Thanks, David, but the shots that come out are always a fluke. My reactions aren't fast enough to set up a shot so I just fire away and hope for the best, LOL. My long lens broke on my winter trip to the southwest so I got a Bigma as a replacement. This was the first outing to test it. No teleconverter because the autofocus wouldn't work with this lens.
David, it is a tiny burrowing owl who hunts the high desert of northern California. He lives about a half mile from my campsite so I got to see him (or her) every day.
Hello Heinz, and thank you for the like!
I think these little tree swallows find a warmer place to spend their winters too. The others were busy checking out nesting boxes and cavities in trees but this one seemed happy to just sit and soak up the sun.
Thank you, sixteen_imgs. Grackles are fun.
Thank you, sixten_imgs and greetings from sunny northern California!
I just checked out your wonderful gallery. It will take time to view them all but I see many that will become my favorites!
As you may have noticed I have a thing about GBHs
Thanks for the info.
