Thank you, Heinz! One of my favorite haunts.
Thank you, Heinz. A rare spring day on the coast when the wind isn't blowing hard enough to whisk you over the cliff. The background is yellow bush lupine.
I lay on my belly Brian on the sidewalk.
I suffer for my art............
It does work (in a special kinda way) don't it?
Life was pretty great that day! Warm with just a gentle breeze and wildflowers everywhere.
I was watching baby seals nursing and playing with their moms on the beach when I was distracted by huge waves just offshore. By the time I realized there weren't any rocks for waves to smash against, it was too late to capture a mother and baby spyhopping together. Got the camera up just in time to catch the baby breaching.
You have nothing to be jealous of, David! You are a true photographer AND you get to travel to amazing places!
David, it is a Sandhill Crane heading north to the nesting grounds. As he passed, I wondered if I'd seen him among the 30,000 cranes wintering down at Whitewater Draw a few months ago.
Thanks, David! The heron was too far away to see what he had so I was pleasantly surprised by the detail. Couldn't help but feel bad for the little Sculpin.
Very good work! It looks like a painting!
Well, I'm heading back for more in a couple of weeks. Lets hope we get good (enough) weather.
Yes, that is Denio camp but I was looking south toward Gerlach. I would love to know something about Billy Denio's life but I've never been able to source any information. Do you know?
Beautiful place! Like36!
