Kathleen Bishop's conversations

Thank you for the kind words cheets99! Good energy up there even when the winds are fierce.

Love the froggies! Very, very nice!

Thanks for your comment Munag!!!!! I've seen a couple faces in this cloud too! Big ones! Nature produces many mysterious things!I really appreciate all your Ysl's even if they are elusive! :) Thanks Munag! Sincerely Curtis

Hi Kathleen! Its no big secret really. Wildlife for the most part will bolt if they feel threatened. A slow and patient approach is the best way I find to get close. The more time you allow for the animal to get used to your presence the more they are inclined to see you as non threatening. This shot probably took me twenty or more minutes. Thank you for your visit and like. I hope i answered your question sufficiently! Warm regards Curtis

Thank you, Pethron4! It is not the best by far but part of the fun is aspiring to improve.

Larry, did I meet you and your group coming out of Enchanted Valley? It would have been August 10th.

Lovely shot of these tiger lily’s! Looks there were hundreds of them?

Hi Kathleen! I also believe its a Green Heron! The Bittern has a more of a light brown almost tan feathering between the cheek and shoulder! Thats my final answer! :) Nice shot btw! They are so shy! Cheers Curtis

This is especially nice Kathleen - gorgeous blown up big! It has a perfect exposure balance and nice leading line(s).

Good stuff - Jethro

Still plenty of snow up there I see Kathleen for July. I was here end of October 2006 and was surprised by how little snow there was (then it snowed on the drive down to Calgary).

Very nice set - Jethro
