OMG!!! It's not raining there... Been across that bridge about 8 or 9 times, only once, in mid summer, it was not comming down cats & dogs. Last time was 3 days before 2000 - it was pouring down that day!!! My boys (adults now) got out to walk to the bridge or a bit before the bridge, to look down at the Haast River roaring downstream.

It is lovely to exchange few words with somebody who loves photography. I have stopped placing photos in panoramio or other websites. It is time consuming exorcise, internet relatively slow, size of photos got bigger....but we still travel and enjoy taking pictures. We live in NSW but originally we are from Poland where we spent most of our lives...but catching up!!!
NZ is special for us because it was the first country we visited after leaving Poland and what a wonderful holidays we had..... Cheers Miro
