Miro, I got it. Iguazu Falls is a must place too. Summer is coming, so it's possible to rain a lot during January, February and March. Iguazu Falls must be at maximum power.

Yes, Brazil is too big. I advise you to take an airplane to Rio, it's faster. There's a lot of places to visit here like Christ Redeemer, Sugar Loaf, Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches, Downtown and Tijuca's Forest (biggest urban forest), Botanical Garden, and other parks. You can go to Niteroi, the nearest city. There're some old forts and a beautiful view to Rio. Oh, if you come in February, it's Carnival. I recommend at least 1 week in Rio. During summer, weather is around 30-45 Celsius, sunny and very humid (85-95%).

Other cities around can be visited like [Petropolis (Imperial City) and Teresopolis (beautiful road), both close to Rio. You must go to Buzios in north (full of blue and green waters) and Paraty in south (colonial city, very well preserved). In Buzios, you’ll find people from Argentina living there. Brigitte Bardot lived there also.

I'll be your ciccerone if you like it. My pleasure. Because you love nature, other far places you can choose going is Pantanal (center region) or Amazonia, biggest forest on Earth in North region. Both places are full of wildlife. In Bahia you can visit Salvador and places like Itacaré and Maraú.

Let me know what you think. Greetings,

Greetings Miro59, Thought I'd let you know this is a view of Hallet Peak looking across Nymph Lake. This the second lake down from Emerald Lake, or the first lake you come to after starting up the trail from Bear Lake. Nymph Lake is the little lake you see on the map between Dream Lake and Bear Lake, should you want to move the picture to the correct location. Looks like you had a wonderful day to hike in the hills.

Cheers,

Rich
