Thank you, Slavko! Greetings from New Mexico.
Might you be willing to send me a higher resolution version of your Denali Park 2010 photograph of Mt. McKinley with permission to include the photo in a reduced format in a geologic guide?
With others, I am writing a laypersons geologic guide to the major highways of Alaska. The geologic guide, along with a companion book on the geology of Alaska, will be published for free on the Web with no copyright.
This effort is part of my work as a geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey in California. If you are interested, in return, I will send you a PDF file of the geology of this and adjacent sites. My E-Mail address is: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you, Warren
I like how you went with the silhouettes :)
That is a cool tree!
Thanks, yes it's my favorite place.....
I know...back when every civic building was built with pride!
Yes these are Black Spruce, in this area the predominant Spruce species is Black Spruce - especially in the boggy spots. On my property I also have some Black Spruce a few yards from bog rooted ones that look totally different - tall and "healthy"
Thanks for checking in.
