The title of this photo is not appropriate. These are GVAR (GOES Variable Data Format) antennas atop NOAA's National Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF). NPOESS is the name of a satellite program that is jointly managed by, and will be operated by NOAA from this facility. These antennas have nothing to do with NPOESS apart from being on the building the program will eventually share. I suggest re-naming the photo to "GVAR Antennas."
