Excellent shot of the memorial to the fallen soldiers of World War One. The inscription on the statue reads" They died for England, now you live for it" The statue occupies an impressive and dramatic position looking out towards an amazing panoramic view of the north sea ( almost 180 degrees). Ironically, not far from this spot is the place where the first soldier to be killed on British soil during W.W.1. died.

Hi Samuli, This one was about 10 metres away as well. Pic was taken from the track up to the viaduct at Glenfinnan, it didn't hang around long though once it had seen us!!
