Now retired,I am taking the opportunity to travel and of course, take photographs. Australia my home country gives so many opportunities to photograph from the seas to the desert and everything in between. I hope you enjoy my portfolio where I have tried to incorporate the variety this country deserves. Please, no more invitations to groups.

Yes, it was very cold - about -4. What one endures for a photograph! Di

Thanks Daryl. This photo has a special meaning to me. It is the farm that my father, along with his brother and my grandfather took over in 1920. It was over-run with blackberries and bracken fern and took many years of very hard work to tame initially with scythe and burning. They took in paying guests to make ends meet. Now, ironically it is a farm stay. I have been lucky to be able to stay there and reminiscence with the existing owner. Cheers, Dianne

Another great shot of our great outback... I love the name of the road going in - "Red Centre Way"... :-))
Nice choice for your first post in the group. I'm sorry it took me so long to fix the invite.

This is a great view. I like this a lot. Ron.

Very effective photo. Like! Dianne, with greetings from Australia

I wish I could be there now. It´s a fantastic pic. Greetings from Germany Anja

Many thanks to Australia :) Anja

Thanks for the affirmation, Dianne. It is great to welcome you to my gallery especially as it contains lots of Australiana.
