Hi, No I really didn't know where this location was, these glass slides were found in old house in Dartmouth Nova Scotia Canada. I tried to look it up but had limited luck. Thank you for the update, I figures that someone at some point would know it's correct placement.
This photo is taken looking south from the Bedford Basin. This foreground is of the North End of the peninsula and does incorporate the area selected on the map. However, the highlighted area is a very small portion of this photo.
Also the area labelled as Hydrostone is also inaccurate by 1-2km.
