This is the sign at the start of the walk to Steall Gorge Waterfall .The path through Steall Gorge takes you on a journey through a deep cleft where churning water scours the bedrock and the remains of ancient woodland cling to the steep hillside. The Gorge opens out onto an upland meadow surrounded by open hillside.Here you can see the cascading torrent of An Steall ( the Spout) waterfall. this is a slightly dangerous walk but well worth the journey ....David...
