My first School, my First teacher Miss Jones and my first "Governess Miss Thomas. I became a Teacher. then a Headteacher in Kent, where quite out of the blue I met The son of a former Headteacher at Abertysswg School a certain Mr Morgan (1939-45 approx.)

Quite a building for a small village, whilst I attended Bethania which was just along the Road I did attend certain Services at Ainon, Baptisms and Anniversary Sundays.Are the WALKOUTS still held on Whit Monday?

This corner photograph brings back very many memories,the shop next door was Conboys whilst the shop near the red car was Jordan's The newagent.Who remembers "Cliff" delivering the dailies.Born in 5 Westville,lived at 32 Arthur Street until 1947 when I came to live in Kent.

It's an old culvert that seen the light of day when an old wall was taken down , it has now been covered by a new wall so is unlikely to see the light of day again.It carries water from the natural spring in the woods behind into the Rhymney river.Thought it would an interesting photo as it will be unlikely to be seen again.
