I always wondered what happened to the Pearl of Africa--which was located in Uganda. But I see that the Bahrainians stole it and now claiming that this belongs to them.
I use to live at the resort that is now called "Club Morocco" from 1980-1982. At that time it was a "Travel Lodge" resort. The island that you are now calling Panama Island,was called Rizal Island, named after a former Philippine President
This was known as the Parian Gate, opening to the area called the Parian, where the Chinese were allowed to settle in the 16 to the 17th century. They were deliberately kept under watch and within canon range to assure the wary Spaniards a measure of security.
