Johan Nel's conversations

You will find lots of "strange" places in Africa. The town of Elim was established in 1824 as a Moravian mission station. Most of the buildings here date back to the 19th century, although some of the original thatched cottages now boast corrugated roofs and colourful paint - one of the few signs of change over the years. Everything about this town feels steeped in history: the Elim Church has the oldest working clock in the country (that’s 235 years old!), the large water mill is one of the oldest of its kind still in use, and the primarily Moravian community still attend the old Moravian church every Sunday where the brass band proudly performs.

• Gorgeous capture, very good photo that I Like a lot.

Dit is n plek wat ek nog moet sien

Very nice photo!

Sorry, I don't understand Portugese! I speak English and Afrikaans.

So, die foto het my baie gekos!
