deepeye's conversations

Hello Deepeye, I'm fairly new to Panoramio and having just uploaded my snowy picture of St Anne's Church, I noticed yours. I've enjoyed looking at all your gallery - they are my sort of photos. I like this summery view with those elegant cottages on Derbyshire Road, which I also photographed a few years ago. I've lived in Sale all my life (55 years) so have got a lot documented. Best wishes. Tim :))

Former Sale Hotel, Marsland Road saved from demolition by public petition.

Historic trams are a favorite link between Soller Town's Estacion (pictured here) and Port de Soller. From the station here, you can travel by old electric train (Ferrocarril de Soller) to Bunyoles and Palma City. A leisurely way to enjoy splendid scenery.

Thanks again Michael. Framing can be tricky with my little Samsung L55W, since the LCD is not easy to see in bright light (no viewfinder). The solitary tree perched on top of the rock fascinates many!

Thanks Michael! I'm trying to learn from your "eye" for interesting subjects. Fascinated by this boat bearing such non-Catalan name!

Sadly, it was far more than a small minority of fans that rioted I'm afraid. It's the Manchester Utd fans I feel sorry for, they win the greatest prize in club football and aren't allowed a victory parade. Whoever made that disgraceful decision should be ashamed of themselves.

Yes, just clean windows I'm afraid!

Interesting angle on the elaborate former high altar. Nice to get such a taste of its magnificence.I last visited around 20 years ago, when my eldest son performed in a choral concert. Thanks Michael for the reminder!

Also known as the Cathedral of South Cheshire: its website is http://www.stmarysnantwich.org.uk/church_building.php

Haha, I took this with my old Canon A1 so I had to stubb the ciggy out as you need both hands free to tame that beast!

That little camera of yours sure captures a very nice wide aspect, very impressed yet again.

I'll get round to replying to your email soon I promise :)
