I am a middle aged self employed Thatcher, living in the South West of England. I love taking photographs and I like to try and capture all the things around me. My main interests are insects and wildlife, but if anything catches my eye I will photograph it.

A special place to reflect.

Thanks Vokrug Sveta.

Thank you dear Erika, This is eye catching, like little drops of blood in the snow. I to hope that the snow waits, it is pretty, but it is not nice to work in snow. :)

Thank you very much. Greetings, Rosa.

I find old abandoned farms always very sad (And creepy). Children where raised here and all the good and bad times that where spent here. Then comes the time when you can no longer afford to live here, but you cannot afford to move away. It must be heartbreaking. No wonder farmers have such a high suicide rate. Kudos to the son's and daughters of the soil.

Haha...perhaps testing a new product? Thanks, Hans.

Richard

Hi Richard, I know that feeling only too well! There is a smaller lake a mile or so down the road with a lovely thatched cottage by its shore...I quite fancy that :-) Thanks for your L&F. Regards, Rosa.

Eva The blue bells have long gone and the wood is losing it's leaves, but there is always something to see and the scent of a wood in Autumn is always intoxicating.
