Santiago Calatrava also designed the Puente de la Mujer in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires. Sorry, it is not a very good photo. Every street name in Puerto Madero is devoted to a famous woman (no, there isn't a Eva Perón street).
I guess I have learnt a little about modern architecture thanks to my constant contact with Taschen books.
What I like in Calatrava and in other architects and artists is that he has developed his own, characteristic style. The Gare do Oriente and the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciènces being two of the most prominent examples.

Thank you. The glass was deforming the image, so backlight photos were my best option...
