OK, I've move the photo to a position just west of Wickenburg. I think the cactus is the large object just North and slightly West of the camera.

Globe’s first settlement at Big Johny Gulch, about 2 miles north of Globe. The place (cave) was build by the members of Cal Jackson party in 1869 from where the gold miners defended them self from Apache attacks and later, the place was used by Hunkydory Holmes and the members of Pinal Mining Co. in September 1871.

You're right Bobby. Thanks again. I checked the album (this was taken pre-digital), and it says Chiracahua, so the mistake was mine when I posted it. I've changed the name, and I will accept the suggested change in location which I presume was yours. BTW, I enjoyed your website. you need some shots of the Antelope (Slot) canyons outside Page also. good work!

Before they change name to Golden Valley the area was (and still is) known as Sacramento Valley, named after Sacramento Wash that runs trough the Valley. This name (Sacramento Valley) still appears of many Arizona maps.

This is NOT Chloride original old Jail. This “Jail” is tourist made attraction!
