"It's ein Bridge Museum!", my German colleague said of the Cleveland flats area.

"The Jake" (Jacobs Field) and downtown Cleveland loom over the industrial side of the Cuyahoga River at night.

Shi Shi beach is only accessbile via hiking trails, the shortest one being a 3 miler through the Makah reservation. Shi Shi's tide pools at low tide are spectacular.
