Hi Barry, Thanks for the come back. The mining world are a special group of people. WE all talk the same language and are immediatly friends. A little tidbit. You will notice the large fan on the catwalk to the right. The truck is equiped with dynamic Brakes. When traveling down hill with 250 Tons in the box there is no regular braking system which would control the speed.At this time the dynamc brakes are energised. The electric drive motors are turned into generaters. This produces a massive amount of energy And this fan cools the huge grids. The speed of the fan is detirmined by the amount of braking. We produced enough electricity to power a small city if it could have been wired up to the line.
