Thank you for the photo of the 1931-9-18 memorial. It reminded me of my visit to Dachau, Bavaria, Germany. Located there is a memorial to events which began in 1933. The common theme is found in the following two photos from the Dachau memorial. I think this goes along with your discussion of buildings, landscape, facilities, and so on.
