This is the North Shore Yacht Club. Aces and Spades was a name painted on the building for the filming of The Island. In just a few months the club will be open once again, this time with a museum, visitor center and a community center for North Shore.

What a great shot! I made my way down this walk SO many times...I can still feel the heat radiating from the summer air thanks to this picture.

I agree with Gsmick. I don't know if I'd have the guts to venture out there and look down on the abyss...

This building on the corner of 8th Street and Walnut in Rogers, Arkansas housed Sam Walton's first Wal-Mart sporting goods department. The building behind this one (not seen in the picture) was the home of the world's first Wal-Mart store. The store later relocated down the street to the west about two miles (called Wal-Mart #00001).
