Almost - you're missing a step in there. The store first relocated to a building diagonally across the street from the original store, and then moved the two or so miles down the road to the current location in 1991. Walmart still owns the second store (and the building next to it) and uses it for offices.
I grew up right down the road by the CT. River. This is the oldest post office in the country. Beautiful historical area but lately the town is allowing cookie cutter homes in between the historical ones. Ruining the astetics.
This is the North Shore Yacht Club. Aces and Spades was a name painted on the building for the filming of The Island. In just a few months the club will be open once again, this time with a museum, visitor center and a community center for North Shore.
