Hello Ocam0003, I made the trip to Ethiopia in February of 2011 in the Omo River and the peoples of the south. A very interesting trip. We left Addis with Land Rover to the border with Kenya. I can not give you much information about the opportunity to reach Ethiopia by airplane, but I can tell you from Addis can be reached by plane Arba Minch, 360 km away to continue, then by car.
