Since a past visit to Spain I have been looking all over Google Earth for the place where we crossed the Portugese Border into Braganca. I saw your picture 'Dan con las banderas' and saw that bridge, and I've been waiting all day to access this site and verify that it really is the same bridge. (the image did not load in google earth)
I can see just over your right shoulder the bank that when I visited was choked with thousands of tree limgs. After a long drive from Valladolid my brother and I blew off steam by sparring with the makeshift wooden swords for an hour or two. He picked up an eight foot pole and I walked away bleeding and lauging.
