I came across this site by accident, I was looking for the folly - in wiki it says it might be demolished. in the late 70's i could see dinton folly from my window - i lived across the road in the lodge - lovely peaceful place except for the owls - the folly had one bellowing away most nights! that or the hippies that stayed there for a week! good memories! thanks so much for sharing your photos, all my pictures are gone now.

Dont forget the actual trial was in the old council offices in Walton Street. The sentencing took place here. The "County Drop" was from the large window in the centre. Youre pictures are superb Randal well done.

Ah yes, Aylesbury train station. Many's the train I took to and from here during my 14 year stay in Aylesbury between 1993 and 2007. Good to see a photo of it. (I'm back living in Ireland again.)

Folly is currently (April 2009) undergoing some restoration and should soon look better.

I know the ship pub has been demolished but I will leave this on so you can see what use to be at this site before the new theatre. The ship pub was built soon after the canel was built and it was over a hundred years old.
