I never wished hell on anyone's soul. Shamil Basayev had no soul. He decapitated people and played football with their heads. He planned and financed the Horror at School # 1. He boasted of it. Before this I actually was strongly in favor of Chechen independence. Now I could care less.
This massacre was as much the fault of Russian security forces and Putin as the milt ant separatist slime.
This Horror reflects on all of humanity. It exemplifies how nationalism and religion poisons men's souls by making them see others as "less than".
How many more thousands of years do we need to evolve?
The Horror. The Horror. In this place, some men created Hell on Earth. Humanity shares the collective smell of the burning flesh of children. All of us. Forever.
I always believed that beyond all the political and religious propaganda we all share the same fundamental values for family and the love and instinctual protection of all children. This has made me question that belief as naive. It makes me ill to lose this in myself. The massacre here happened because after thousands of years, many of us will still kill and slaughter for the state or because we think that our belief in God is better than theirs. Humanity deserves to share hell.
