Taken from a train on the Italian side of the Pass as is climbs, most of the time inside the mountain. The railway line at the bottom left of the picture is the line before it starts the figure of eight climb before heading through the Pass, which can be seen in Google Earth with railways selected. The structure on hollow concrete columns is the road leading to the Pass.
