To me, this shot is symbolic of the car's status. It sits cold and covered, in stasis as it were. Waiting patiently for my daughter to become sixteen, so it can once again drive down the boulevard with its top down.

I come from N. Wisconsin and have lived on the Eastern Shore of MD for 16 years. I miss the snow, so when it does snow, it strikes me as particularly beautiful.

Yes, he is. That kayak was a rescue job. His brother in law built it to near completion, got hurt and was told he would never paddle again. The boat spent 7 yrs in the sun and rain, unfinished.

Bryan and I spent a winter saving it and bringing it back to life. The day we painted it, we brought his BIL over to show and surprise him.

It was a great project in many respects. And it is a great kayak. It is a Chesapeake Light Craft. I do not remember the model, it is discontinued from their lineup of plans.
