Thanks a lot, Corey and Buts! Mr. Usher came terribly close to death from the later snake bite, and if Belize had not built the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City I think he would not have survived. Poisonous snakes are no longer so casually displayed to tourists, but of course the Tommygoff is native to Belize, so those so disposed may seek their own specimen.

This is one of the places I have driven past many times without being able to stop--it is on the right on State Route 10 heading toward Richmond, but there is no place to park on the highway and it is a 55mph zone. Some county offices do have a drive beside it, which is how I finally managed to visit.

Part of what is called "prohibitive architecture?" I guess if I had been better at math I would have taken some architecture courses . . . .
