Government of the 1%, by the 1%, for the 1%, as usual. To be perfected in January 2015. Gerrymandering for fun and profit. Got yachts?

Thanks, Warner! I liked the one I took down in Phoebus, too, but Google didn't want that one . . . . Wonder what we will do when Panoramio is shut down--we may have to think for ourselves! r.w. dawson has lured me over to Flickr at Google, but of course there are many seas to travel . . . .

Thank you very much for visiting, Warner! It has always interested me that the picture could be seen 1,366 times without a comment; I appreciate your taking the time!

I am certainly delighted to have had the opportunity. In 2008 my neighbor, Mr. Tom Murphy, invited me to join the transit cruise of the Tuna Tracker on its way from its home port at Dare Marina in Yorktown, Virginia, to its summer berth at Teach's Lair Marina on Hatteras Island, North Carolina, which enabled me to take photographs of the features of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway between those points. It was a splendid trip, and as you see the weather could not have been better for photography!

Thank you very much for your comment, Warner. I am very glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much, RN Latvian31! I like it myself, and remember well standing near the top of Structure A1 with my tripod and Olympus E20n, looking down to take it. I was able to return in 2011 and climb almost every height at Xunantunich--you may see all of those pictures on the tag XUNANTUNICH--but the first visit is the most exhilarating, is it not?

I am glad you liked it, and thank you for visiting!

beautiful picture. LF
