This cheaply made statue (gypsum) was decoration of a restaurant, that started up on this stretch of the old Patong - Kamala Road, in 1999. The restaurant went bankrupt within a few months, due to a badly chosen location. Within months nature reclaimed its territory, and whatever statues were not stolen by then, fell victim to nature's forces.
